Bernie Sanders Campaigns for Keith Ellison

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - Last weekend radical progressive Bernie Sanders campaigned for Keith Ellison, stating that Ellison was “one of the strongest progressive fighters in this country.”

Sanders talked about the issues of abortion, election integrity and workers rights in an attempt to bolster Ellison’s claim to the position of Minnesota Attorney Genereal. Ellison and Republican candidate Jim Schultz remain locked in a close race as Schultz slowly closes the gap between himself and the failed leftist policy maker.

Other radical leftist such as Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal joined with Sanders to voice their support for Ellison. 

“Keith Ellison has once again proven that he is an extreme leftist who is fighting to stay in the race for Minnesota Attorney General,” said Kendall Qualls, Minnesota Action Network board member. “His soft-on-crime policies have failed him and now he is flailing around grasping for any form of support that he can manage. It was a huge mistake to ally himself with Sanders like this and it shows the Minnesotan people who he is and who he is friends with: radical progressives. Ellison continues to attempt to distract the people from the high crime rates by talking about other issues. Meanwhile Jim Schultz has consistently driven home the need for reduced crime in Minnesota. That is the largest issue and it is one that Keith Ellison has failed to address.”
