Jim schultz tied with keith ellison in the minnesota ag race
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - The latest poll shows Republican candidate Jim Schultz tied with incumbent Keith Ellison for Minnesota Attorney General. The contest for AG has become the closest race in Minnesota and thanks to Schultz’s hard work and commitment to the people of Minnesota, he is now running the strongest campaign of any statewide candidate.
Both candidates are sitting at 47%, with 5% of voters unsure who they would vote for.
Schultz has consistently said his main focus as Attorney General will be to decrease the dangerously high crime rate that threatens the people of Minnesota. He is currently endorsed by 37 Minnesota county sheriffs. Ellison’s selling point has been his stance on keeping abortions legal within the state.
“Jim Schultz will support law enforcement and help keep Minnesota communities safe. All that Keith Ellison has done is allow criminals to terrorize the people of Minnesota,” said Kendall Qualls, board member from Minnesota Action Network. “This latest poll reflects how Minnesotans are eager for change. Schultz is on the rise and gaining ground in the race, while Ellison is slowly beginning to realize that his radical views have lost him this election. We need to elect Jim Schultz as Attorney General. Minnesota has suffered under Keith Ellison for long enough.”
