Crime is Front and Center in the Minnesota Attorney General Race
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - With a little less than a month until general elections, Minnesota’s high crime rate has proven to be one of the top issues in the Attorney General’s race.
Straight-shooting Republican Jim Schultz has made it clear he will not tolerate the crime that incumbent Keith Ellison has allowed to infect the state.
Schultz has earned the endorsement of multiple law enforcement supporters, including the 22 county attorneys and the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association. Meanwhile Ellison has managed to scrape up the support of 9 county attorneys as he campaigns with leftist radicals such as Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal.
“The fact that Keith Ellison has so clearly allied himself with leftist radicals fortifies what so many already know, that Ellison’s soft-on-crime policies have failed the people of Minnesota” said Kendall Qualls, Minnesota Action Network board member. “If our state has any hope of beating back this surge of violence, it is with Jim Schultz as Minnesota Attorney General. I pray for the sake of the people that Schultz is elected in November.”
