Keith Ellison Weak on Crime
MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - In a recent Fox News article, Republican challenger Jim Schultz called Attorney General Keith Ellison out for his failure to do his job. Schultz noted Ellison’s lack of action when it comes to tackling the high crime and drug crisis in Minnesota, stating that “It's an area where our current attorney general is completely missing in action. We have methamphetamine issues, in particular in greater Minnesota, but also in the metro… It completely goes unaddressed.”
Ellison’s record as Attorney General has consisted of pushing the ‘defund the police’ movement, allowing violent crime rates to skyrocket, siding with extreme left policy makers like Ilhan Omar and recklessly putting the lives of Minnesotans at risk by establishing soft-on-crime policies.
“Keith Ellison will go down in history as one of the worst Attorney Generals in Minnesota. He supported the defunding of the police, allowed civil unrest to tear through the Twin Cities and allowed violent crimes to rise to a record high” said Kendall Qualls, MN Action Network Boardmember. “As the countdown to midterm elections continues, Ellison should be focused on curbing the high crime rate in Minnesota. Instead he continues to push ridiculous leftist policies. It’s time for change. That change begins with electing Jim Schultz as Minnesota Attorney General in November.”
