Keith Ellison Didn’t Do Enough on the Feeding Our Future Scandal

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - Following a $250 million scheme to exploit a children’s nutrition program along with the indictment of 48 involved individuals, Keith Ellison, either demonstrated unbelievable incompetence by failing to stop such a huge fraud, or turned a blind eye in order to secure campaign donations for himself and the Democratic party.

While Ellison continues to put forth claims that he was responsible for the 48 indictments, the question remains: if Ellison had any doubts about the program, why did he not stop MDE from making payments? The state continued to give Feeding of Future money even after Ellison claimed he had suspicions of the organization, giving nearly $200 million in 2021.

Ellison has a long history of failing the people of Minnesota by doing nothing to stop high crime rates, civil unrest and now fraud cases that waste millions of dollars in taxpayer money. Jim Schultz on the other hand has promised change and improvement where Ellison has failed.

“The Feeding Our Future scandal where taxpayer dollars went to waste is just another example of how Keith Ellison has failed to do his duty to the state and to the people,” said Kendall Qualls, MN Action Network Boardmember. “Enough is enough, we need to elect Jim Schultz as Minnesota Attorney General, or there will never be an end to the high crime rates, lawlessness, and fraud schemes that Ellison has allowed to occur in our state.”
