Inflation Rising fast in Minnesota

Minnesota is now home to some of the highest rising inflation in the nation. With supply chain issues dominating the news, all across the country families are paying more at the grocery store, but across the Midwest the October consumer price index rose 7.3% in states like Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

As prices continue to rise at disproportionate rates in Minnesota and other Midwest states, what is Governor Walz going to do so parents can afford to buy groceries and feed their families? If his response is similar to the steps his administration has taken to address the decline in public safety, then Minnesota residents are going to be waiting a long time for that answer.

Minnesota can’t afford to continue allowing Governor Walz to ruin the state with his harmful agenda and lackadaisical approach. We need a leader who isn’t afraid to put in the work and will actually listen to the needs of residents. Minnesotans are concerned about the trajectory of our state. Governor Walz was elected under the premise that we would be “One Minnesota,” yet under his leadership we’ve become more divided than ever before and as the Governor prioritizes politics over people.

Now is our chance to elect real change for families as they struggle to stay afloat in a tenuous economy. We need someone who will place an emphasis on helping families and work to fix the internal supply chain issues here in Minnesota, so families can put food on the table.
